Here at St Philip’s we take the spiritual formation of our younger generation seriously, and we invite our families to join us in worship. We walk in the new life of Christ and welcome infants and newly baptized into our church home, surrounding our children with the love and guidance that God has gifted each one of us with.

Children’s Program
Kids’ Church (ages 3 – 12)
Throughout the year we offer a meaningful and engaging children’s worship time beginning in the midst of our Sunday morning congregation. The Children’s Time near the beginning of the service is a chance for our priest to share a special message with our children. They are then welcome either move downstairs with a committed children’s team comprised of both staff and volunteer persons, remain with their family or move to our play area nestled in the south wing of the church. Downstairs we discuss God’s word in painting, colour, craft, video and table talk. Questions are discussed and encouraged.
Youth
Youth Group (ages 10 – 15)
As our children reach the double digit numbers we encourage them to remain upstairs for worship and participate in various ways: reading, serving, leading the prayers, greeting or simply sharing in the worship experience.
On Friday evenings at 6:00 pm our youth meet up for an informal night of Bible study, conversation and fun. Throughout the year, games, movies, outings, cooking and more, bring our youth and leadership together as a community. We discuss relevant topics of the day through the lens of scripture, we support one another through triumphs and challenges, and we pray together becoming closer to Jesus, our friend and shepherd. Our youth frequently bring forward ideas which we incorporate into our Friday evening worship.
